The Oceanic Chute 3 “Wing” BCD has a heavy-duty back mount with Bio flex air cell (fadeless Denier Nylon) for extreme usage in warm or cold waters. This provides comfort & freedom of movement balanced against function and durability. The Bio flex stretches and hugs to the divers body profile eliminating ‘chest squeeze’, but whilst stretching it remains airtight, creating less bulk and drag underwater.

The integrated inflator is ergonomically designed to be functional and easy to use in any dive position. It provides a full range of airway exhaust/inflation control, trimming dive attitude or max flow for changes in buoyancy. A large exhaust valve creates a flow rate higher than inflation rate of the power inflator, which improves diver control during accents.

The reinforced shoulders and heavy-duty lumbar pad comfortably distribute the additional weight of doubles or redundant air supplies.

The Quick lock & release system is standard equipment on the Chute 3 with weights that stay in position throughout the dive and do not shift around affecting buoyancy & positioning. The weight pouches are simple to load and secured with heavy duty Velcro & ‘positive’ clip locks, but are easy to release.

The rear weight pockets are located on the back of the BC, either side of the tank cradle giving greater integrated weight capacity, carrying up to 10 non-dump able pounds.

This BCD has:

- Rear inflation bladder (wing) provides maximum lift & minimum drag when deflated
- Reinforced shoulders, padded backpack with lumbar pad support & adjustable sternum strap ensure comfort and stability when carrying as well a lining at all contact points of the body
- QLR integrated weight system accommodates up to 32 lbs
Plus dual 5 lbs, rear weight pouches for improved in water positioning (this BCD comes with an additional spare QLR integrated weight – see photo)
- 6 pre bent welded stainless steel D rings
- Integrated instrument retractor mount, perfect for streamlining gauges, torch or other equipment
- Knife mounting grommets on both sides for easy access - (retractor and knife not included)
- Large main zipped drop down compartment pocket to store extra mask, pocket snorkel extra. Also an accessory pocket
- Extra strength harness with oversized 2” quick release adjustment buckles for easy adjustment, even if wearing thick gloves
- Adjustable cumberband to fit a wide range of tums, but can be changed for another size.

This Oceanic Chute 3 “Wing” BCD, size large, was purchased in September 2005, and has only been used for warm water leisure holiday diving (approx 30 dives in total). It has been well cared for, cleaned and packed well after use waiting for the next outing.
It has been serviced annually by a registered Oceanic representative (Diveline) and its service history will be provided (last service 23 July 2009).
This regular servicing has kept the Oceanic warranty on this BCD – therefore full working order and excellent condition.

The only reason for sale is a gift of another Oceanic BCD for husband’s birthday. A bit like us with shoes!
