One of the largest Mechanical & Electrical Contractors in East Anglia are currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator to expand their current team based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Their expertise in Mechanical and Electrical Services Installations covers a wide range of applications and values through our Major Contracts teams, including:
- Commercial
- Industrial
- Health Care
- Education
- Leisure
- Retail
- Environmental and Sustainable energy applications.

They are flexible on the level of expertise so are interested to hear from Junior through to Senior level, you will be working in team of estimators in a pleasant working environment. The successful candidate would be responsible for gathering information from tender documentation to produce an accurate take off of labour,  materials and sub-contract work using our estimating software. Will attend all pre-tender meetings and to ensure tenders submitted are commercially viable.


To ensure you receive the best possible offer you should be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Previous experience of a similar role is essential within a contracting environment
- A good all round commercial awareness is needed
- Good Negotiation Skills
- The ability to work the majority of the time on own initiative and be extremely well motivated
- Excellent Computer literacy.
