Day to day duties will include: ~
*Liaising with customers ranging from large national customers to smaller independent company's
*Up sell of company products and available stock
*Stock control
*Answering incoming calls
*Input of stock on to a computer system
*Providing product advise to customer
*Arranging deliveries to customer sites and of stock in the yard
*Assisting the lorry's loading and unloading of products
*Adhere to Health & Safety


Experience required

Ideal background would be from the construction / building trade, however they would consider someone with a good technical background whether from engineering or retail.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to liaise with people at all levels whether face to face or over the phone
Computer literacy is important as you will be required to log enquiries on to the system.
Flexible attitude
Team Player
Ability to work weekends, possibly one in two or three.
