Construction Manager

The Role: Construction Managers are required for their National Teams who work in the retail sector with clients such as Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury. You will be responsible for leading and managing the team on projects ranging from £5million+, from start of project to handover, reporting to a visiting Project Manager or operating as a number 2 on a £10million project
The Person: You will need to have a technical build background due to the mix of projects involved – i.e. installation of mezzanine floors, extensions and refits as well as new shell fit-outs. You will also need to have an understanding of the complexities involved in working in a live environment where the premises are occupied by the client. Experience of working on live retail projects would be an advantage. My client is also interested in hearing from candidates who have a background of working in store development within a retail environment.
This is a site based role which may require you to work away from home, living away arrangements are organised by the company. Projects are based mainly in the South West, South East, Midlands, and South Wales.
