MECHANICAL DESIGN/PROJECT ENGINEER - IPSWICH - £22-28k

A leading engineering company in Ipswich is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer, either a recent graduate or experienced engineer, to work on a number of their key projects.

The main function of the role will be to develop projects from customer enquiries through initial concept design, technical specifications, budgeting and costing into detailed designs. Other tasks will include the reparation of production and maintenance manuals and the creation of product build schedules.

Candidates will need to have either a strong back ground in mechanical design or be a recent graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering. 3D CAD skills, ideally Solidworks, are also required. A willingness to take on new ideas and excellent communication skills are also required.
