My client is a well established and successful manufacturing and engineering company who have a current vacancy for a Mechanical Project Engineer.

The successful applicant will be involved with various projects and will be tasked to provide timely and cost effective solutions for internal and customer generated specifications.

Responsibilities will include:
Evaluating customer tenders
Preparing ideas and solutions to requirements
Develop highly detailed project plans
Initiate the project management sequence
Liaising with customers at all stages of the project
Resolving queries and projects
Hands on engineering when required
Conduct a final project review prior to production handover

We require applicants who have previous mechanical project engineering experience from within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Candidate requirements:
HNC / HND or equivalent in mechanical engineering
Experience in using Microsoft Project
Excellent communication skills
Commercial awareness
Strong decision maker
Calm under pressure
Meticulous attention to detail
