Ex Universal Singer Songwriter seeks Musicians for new Folk Indie Project with Major Label interest.

Hi

I am a female singer/songwriter forming a new band in the vein of Fleetwood Mac/Kate Bush/Fleet Foxes. Think beautiful, ethereal, folky... but not flouncy, not saccharine! Dark and beautiful. Tons of harmonies and a focus on lyrics.

I used to be signed to Universal as a solo artist and am now in talks with another Major to sign a band deal. I have lots of material but very open to other songwriters joining/collaboration/new writing within the band etc etc.

I'm really looking for serious musicians who are top notch players with plenty of artistic talent, keen to be in a successful, creative, touring band. You need to be open to the idea of eventually touring for long periods of time; and potentially recording in the USA.

Elliot Smith, Sufjan Stevens, Iron and Wine, Jeff Buckley, The National, Rufus Wainwright, Blonde Redhead, Okkervil River, The Shins, Simon & Garfunkel, The Smiths, Spoon, Tom McRae, Bon Iver.
