Reliability Improvement technician

We are currently recruiting for a Reliability Improvement Technician to work on our East Anglia train maintenance contract in Norwich.

Position Summary:


To support the Reliability Engineer in the development of fleet reliability growth and to assist with the implementation and execution of modifications and fleet checks.

Key Accountabilities:
- Support with fleet fault finding, unit jockeying and attending failed units at outstations as required.
- Assist with the writing, implementation and execution of technical instructions, modifications and fleet checks.
- Carry out modifications and fleet checks.
- Act as the Maximo Configuration Manager for the depot, responsible for ensuring the robustness of data and supporting the staff as required.
- Develop the use of Orbita to give reliability growth.

Skills and Experience required

- HNC or equivalent in an Engineering related discipline.
- Desire to develop self to charted engineer standard.
- Good general knowledge of I.T.
- Strong negotiation skills, presentation, persuasion, influencing with people at all levels.
- A good communicator & able to actively listen.

This role has the requirement to work nights / weekends as required.
