We have a great opportunity of a building services engineer with a mechanical background who has experience in air conditioning and refrigeration plant to work on a large static in the Ipswich area dealing PPMs and reactive works for a full range of HVAC plant and mechanical systems.
The successful candidate will be joining a multi skilled team to carry out maintenance routines unsupervised, diagnose and repair faults on a wide variety of plant including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, motors, pumps, compressors, water treatment plant, fans, drives, pneumatic controls, oil/gas-fired boilers, pressurisation units, sensible coolers, HTHW and LTHW systems using the BMS (Trend).
Ideally having completed a full apprenticeship and a minimum City and Guilds Level 2078/mechancial engineering or an ONC is a minimum requirement, however an HNC or above in mechanical engineering, factory services or a similar but related subject would be advantageous. CITB Safe Handling of Refrigerants and/or City and Guilds in Charging and Recovery, CITB P&P Pipework and Brazing.
This position comes with an attractive salary of up to £30,000 (excellent for out of London)
